Everyday Make Up Look

Hi! This is my first time to post a picture of me with my GO-TO make up on. Well, as days pass by, after watching tons of YouTube Vloggers and reading reviews from different beauty bloggers, I have finally tried and is still learning how to use my make up, VIOLA! This is the result.

So, let's get started on how i was able to achieve this look and what are the makeups used as well.

As you can see below, these are the products I have used to achieve this look. I only have one brush in the picture, that is because I don't own any other. I always use my bare fingers when doing my make up, except for the eyes, of which I am using the brush that came with my Naked palette. Will try to get some sets of brushes for future use, as of the moment, I am relying on God's given tool until I can get some alternatives. :)

1. LA Girl USA HD Pro Concealer in Pure Beige - I got this from @itlookslikelove for AED25. This is blendable, buildable with opaque coverage. It's creamy yet has a lightweight texture. I like this concealer, i use this alternately with the Maybelline Fit Me concealer one.

2. Benefit IT'S POTENT Eye Cream & Benefit Porefessional - The first one treats dark circles and fine lines. I always use it together with my Benefit Puff Off! to remove my super big eye bags, and the eye cream to lighten my dark spots on my under eye. I will definitely provide a different review for the Puff Off and my Benefit stash next time so you can see how much i adore this brand. So I got this tinnie tiny eye cream as a gift last Christmas together with my Benefit Porefessional and Bad Gal Primer (it was in one box, i forgot the bundle that Benefit had, i think it was Benefit Porefect.) I love how benefit have these kinds of sets that enable you to try it out first with their travel size and if you like it, then you can easily get the full size - to save money on buying full size and later on disliking the product. Next to discuss is the Benefit Porefessional - a flesh colored, silicon based, dry/matte texture pore minimizer balm. I use mine as a primer. I love this because it makes my skin feel smooth and I think my make up stays more when i use primers under it. You can get both separately here in the UAE in both Wojooh and Sephora stores. I forgot how much both costs but will try to check it out FYI.

Found the picture of the set after writing the above, let me just share with you. Got the photo from google. :)

3. Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner - This is my first liquid liner since i frequently use my Benefit They're Real gel liner, but when the Sales Associate from Lifestyle at Mall of the Emirates ask me to try this one out, and so I did get it. I like the sharp tip, making it easier to apply. It dries up quickly so i tend to use this one when I'm in a hurry and I have less time to prepare. However, this product is not waterproof nor smudge-proof. Through out the day of using it at work, i notice the line fading, i'm getting little creases on my lid. As it disappears, it creates a shadow thing on my lid and under my eye so this is definitely does transfer. Verdict: will still use this product as its easy to apply but I have to always check for any line transfers under my eye. will no longer repurchase since i need something that stay especially in this hot weather that we have here in Dubai. If you have any suggestions since I'm on a search for a new liquid eyeliner. Please feel free to comment down below. :)

4. Sephora Lip Stain in #13 Marvelous Mauve and Sephora Nano Lip Liner in Royal Rose - Perfect Match, I say. :) This is the perfect dupe for Stila Patina. Since Stila is not available in the UAE, I tried getting its duper as a back up but was not able to contain myself from trying it out and so I am not using it alternately with my Stila one. I love that it stays longer than my other lipsticks but not as long as the Stila one, and yeah, I am currently a sucker for liquid lipsticks so I really love this one.

5. Covergirl Perfect Blend Eye Pencil in Black Brown 110 - I use this on my eyebrows whenever I am in a hurry because its very easy to apply and it stays on my brows all day. I got this as a gift from my friend when she went to the US of A last April. So if I ran out of it, it will be very hard for me to get another.

6. Essence Mono Eyeshadow in 01 Snowflake - I just recently purchased this product, as some of you know I am not a fan of eyeshadows for the reason that I do not know how to apply them, but i deeply admire people who does and are really good at it. I got this one because I have been watching Vlogs on YouTube and like almost all of them are using very light/white eyeshadows for their tear ducts to make their eyes look wide. :) I went to Sephora and saw their white single shadow and swatched it and I was so happy to see how pigmented it was but it costs 72AED and i was on a tight budget since I have recently joined the make up craze/addiction and so, I have been buying a lot of makeups recently. So when we went to IBN (after 10 minutes) and when I saw they have white in stock at the Essence Kiosk in Geant, I immediately swatched it and mygawddddd! it was so pigmented. I swatched it right next to the Sephora one that's why i was able to compare both. So I did not hesitate getting this one along with some more eyeshadows too. You can get this single shadow at Essence Cosmetics loacated inside Geant, IBN Battuta Mall for 9AED only. Essence is among my favorite drugstore brands for its quality and price. Too bad there's not much to choose from and they don't have much products in stock here in the UAE but I really hope they will have in the future.

7. Essence Silky Touch Blush in 20 Baby Doll -  Another Essence product that I love and that I use almost everyday. Great product for its very affordable price of 13AED only. I love how it stays on my face as long as my face does not get oily and if I don't go out under the sun.

8. L'Oreal Lumi Magique Pearl Powder in Rose Radieux - I got this from Lifestyle, Mall of the Emirates for 91AED. This is my only highlighter that's compact, I have tried Benefit's High Beam and I love it and I really want to get more. I'm not into shimmery products but this caught my attention and I love how it makes my skin looks glowing when applied.

9. Covergirl LashBlast Volume Mascara Black 805 - This is another covergirl product that a dear friend of mine sent me (you'll see it in my previous post, Thank you, Hashtag! and you'll find out how I got it). Apparently, Covergirl is not available in the UAE and i really don't know why because I would really love this brand to be staple in my make up collection. This is A-ok for me, but not going to repurchase this one because 1. Yes it does live up to its name of giving volume to my thin, short lashes but I always tend to poke my eyes when application because of its big and long applicator. It might work well for some, but definitely not for me because I have little, chinky eyes y'know. :)

10. Maybelline FIT ME Liquid Foundation in 130 Buff Beige - First and foremost, I got this brand because of its hype since it is one of the most talked about product in the cosmetics world that I live in. One good thing here in the UAE is that most of the products here are European manufactured ones, so there, most if not all US brands or manufactured ones are not available here in the sandpit. (I answered myselg about asking why Covergirl was not available here. Silly me!) So the one that I have has a pump because its UK manufactured one. If you purchased one online and they ordered it from the US then you will have a hard time because it does not come with a pump. Mine has a yellow undertone which suits me (if it ends with 0, it has a yellow undertone, if it ends with 5, you'll have pink undertones). This is wightless to wear and I am recommending you to try it out yourself so long as you get the right shade for you. This provides light to medium coverage. However, since I tend to get oily skin because of the weather here in Dubai, I'll probably get the Matte one instead but since its not available here. I settled for this and it does not disappoint.

11. Urban Decay Naked Palette - I am really not a fan of eyeshadows before because I really dont know how to apply them and I dont want to waste my money over something I cannot use most of the time. But since the time I was starting to be into beauty products, I have to have atleast a few to learn how to. But i told myself that I would really stick to warm, neutral colors. And so I got this palette. Another reason why I got this palette instead of the basic one for me to learn application for is because it has its own brush, and you know me, I dont own much brushes. Never did I ever regretting getting this one, really. I seriously love it. On this palette, i used the colors: Virgin, Naked, Half Baked and Hustle. Those are the shades that I often use.

12. MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in NC40 - It is what MAC claims it to be. It provides a smooth, flawless, all-matte full coverage finish. Long wearing, velvet texture that allows skin to breathe. This is a staple in my make up bag for the longest time, even before I was into cosmetics, really. Before as long as I have my studio fix, I know my face will be fine because it looks smooth and flawless after applying this. This i can guarantee, this product will never disappoint you. Just go to your nearest MAC Cosmetics store and ask help from their specialist for your perfect shade since they have a huge range of shades.

13. Sephora Eye Lash Curler in Metallic Pink - I got this one just because I have other mascaras that are not like Benefit Roller Lash that you do not need to curl your lashes anymore so in order for me to be able to use them, i have to have this. Hopefully, in the coming months, I'll be able to get the infamous Shu Uemura one. :)

Whew, apologies for the very long blog, I hope you will still read it amidst the fact that its long and it lacks solo pictures of each product. I was just too excited to blog about every single product and give reviews that I forgot I need to have a picture of each and every single product. Next time, I'll do that and will post more of what I have and share my thoughts about it too.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy reading this. :)

Bye for now.
